A quick and easy pizza recipe using leftover buffalo wings shredded and tossed in buffalo sauce, topped with mozzarella and blue cheese, baked to crispy perfection. Perfect for game day, potlucks, or a flavorful weeknight dinner.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 810 leftover buffalo wings, shredded
  • 1 12-inch pizza dough (pre-made or homemade)
  • 1/2 cup buffalo sauce
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup blue cheese crumbles (optional)
  • Ranch dressing for drizzling
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons thinly sliced green onions or chives
  • Thinly sliced celery for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 450Β°F (230Β°C). If using a pizza stone, place it in the oven to heat for about 30 minutes.
  2. Shred 8-10 leftover buffalo wings by removing bones and tearing meat into bite-sized pieces. Toss the shredded chicken in 1/2 cup buffalo sauce until well coated.
  3. Roll out the pizza dough on a lightly floured surface into a 12-inch circle. Transfer to a parchment-lined baking sheet or pizza peel if using a pizza stone.
  4. Brush the edges of the dough with 1 tablespoon olive oil to help crisp and brown the crust.
  5. Sprinkle about 1 cup shredded mozzarella evenly over the dough, leaving a 1-inch border around edges.
  6. Distribute the shredded buffalo chicken evenly over the cheese layer.
  7. Sprinkle the remaining 1/2 cup mozzarella and optional 1/2 cup blue cheese crumbles evenly over the chicken.
  8. Bake the pizza on the preheated pizza stone or baking sheet for 12-15 minutes until crust is golden and cheese is bubbly and slightly browned.
  9. Remove from oven and immediately drizzle with ranch dressing. Scatter thinly sliced green onions or chives on top.
  10. Slice the pizza and serve immediately with celery sticks.

Notes

Preheat pizza stone or baking sheet for a crisp crust. Brush crust edges with olive oil for golden color. Avoid overloading pizza with chicken or sauce to prevent sogginess. Let pizza rest a few minutes before slicing. For gluten-free, use almond or cauliflower crust. Vegan versions can use dairy-free cheese and plant-based toppings.
