A rich and elegant cocktail blending fresh strawberries, chocolate, and vodka for a silky, indulgent treat perfect for elegant evenings and special occasions.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 oz (60 ml) vodka (smooth quality like Tito’s or Absolut)
  • 1 oz (30 ml) chocolate liqueur (e.g., Godiva)
  • 4 to 5 fresh strawberries, hulled and pureed
  • 0.5 oz (15 ml) chocolate syrup (e.g., Ghirardelli’s)
  • 1 oz (30 ml) heavy cream or half-and-half (dairy-free cream optional)
  • Ice cubes (enough to chill and shake the cocktail)
  • 2 fresh strawberries, dipped in melted dark chocolate and chilled (for garnish)
  • Chocolate syrup for drizzling inside the martini glass rim

Instructions

  1. Melt about 1/4 cup (60 g) of dark chocolate in a double boiler or microwave.
  2. Dip fresh strawberries halfway into the melted chocolate and place them on parchment paper to chill in the fridge for at least 15 minutes until set.
  3. Hull and roughly chop 4 to 5 ripe strawberries. Blend them until smooth, then strain through a fine mesh strainer if desired for a silky texture.
  4. Drizzle chocolate syrup inside each martini glass, swirling to coat the rim. Chill the glasses in the fridge or freezer.
  5. In a cocktail shaker, combine 2 oz vodka, 1 oz chocolate liqueur, 0.5 oz chocolate syrup, 1 oz heavy cream, and the fresh strawberry puree.
  6. Add a generous handful of ice cubes to the shaker.
  7. Shake vigorously for about 20 seconds until well chilled and slightly frothy.
  8. Strain the mixture through a fine mesh strainer into the prepared martini glasses.
  9. Garnish each glass with a chocolate-dipped strawberry on the rim and serve immediately.

Notes

Use ripe, fresh strawberries for best flavor. Chill all ingredients beforehand to keep the cocktail cold longer. Strain the puree for a smooth texture. Adjust cream and vodka amounts to balance thickness. For dairy-free, substitute heavy cream with coconut cream or almond milk creamer. Melting chocolate slowly and stirring frequently prevents burning. The cocktail mixture without cream can be prepared up to 24 hours ahead; add cream and shake before serving.
