These heart-shaped jello jigglers are quick, easy, and fun treats perfect for parties, kids’ snacks, or nostalgic comfort food. They wobble just right and can be customized with flavors and fruit.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 oz (85 g) Jello Gelatin Mix (strawberry or cherry recommended)
  • 1 cup (240 ml) boiling water
  • 1 cup (240 ml) cold water
  • Non-stick cooking spray
  • Heart-shaped cookie cutters (2-3 inches / 5-7.5 cm wide)
  • Optional: Fresh fruit pieces (e.g., sliced strawberries, raspberries)
  • Optional: Whipped cream for serving

Instructions

  1. Spray the bottom and sides of an 8×8-inch (20×20 cm) pan lightly with non-stick cooking spray and set aside.
  2. Pour 1 cup (240 ml) boiling water into a medium mixing bowl. Add the 3 oz (85 g) packet of jello gelatin powder and whisk vigorously for about 2 minutes until completely dissolved with no granules visible.
  3. Stir in 1 cup (240 ml) cold water gently. If using fresh fruit pieces, fold them in now.
  4. Pour the gelatin mixture into the prepared pan. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or ideally overnight until fully set but still wobbly.
  5. Run a thin knife around the edges to loosen the jello. Invert the pan onto a cutting board or parchment paper and gently shake to release the jello.
  6. Use heart-shaped cookie cutters to press out shapes. Transfer to a serving plate and enjoy immediately or store in an airtight container in the fridge.

Notes

Use boiling water to fully dissolve gelatin for smooth texture. Spray pan lightly with non-stick spray to help jello release easily. Chill fully before cutting to avoid misshapen jigglers. Dip cookie cutters in warm water and dry before cutting to prevent sticking. For firmer jigglers, reduce cold water slightly. Can layer flavors by letting each layer set halfway before adding the next.
