A vibrant and easy-to-make sangria perfect for summer parties, featuring a crisp white wine base with a splash of red wine and fresh red, white, and blue fruits.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 bottle dry white wine (750 ml) – Sauvignon Blanc or Pinot Grigio recommended
  • ½ cup red wine (120 ml) – light-bodied like Pinot Noir
  • ½ cup club soda or sparkling water (120 ml) – optional but recommended
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries
  • 1 cup green grapes, halved
  • 1 medium lemon, thinly sliced
  • 1 medium lime, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons simple syrup or honey (optional)

Instructions

  1. Wash all the fruit thoroughly. Hull and slice the strawberries into thin pieces. Halve the grapes and slice the lemon and lime into thin rounds. Set aside.
  2. In a large pitcher, pour the entire bottle of dry white wine and ½ cup of red wine. Stir gently to combine.
  3. Add the sliced strawberries, blueberries, grapes, lemon, and lime to the pitcher. Stir gently to distribute the fruit evenly.
  4. If desired, add 2 tablespoons of simple syrup or honey to sweeten. Stir well until dissolved.
  5. Cover the pitcher and refrigerate for a minimum of 2 hours, preferably overnight, to let flavors meld and chill.
  6. Just before serving, add ½ cup of club soda or sparkling water to the pitcher and stir gently.
  7. Serve the sangria over ice in glasses, ensuring each glass gets plenty of fruit. Garnish with a sprig of fresh mint if desired.

Notes

Use firm, ripe fruit to prevent mushiness. Frozen berries can be used if thawed and drained. Add sparkling water just before serving to keep fizz. Adjust sweetness after chilling. For kid-friendly version, replace wines with sparkling grape and cranberry juice.
