This one-bowl wonder combines shredded chicken, cream cheese, ranch dressing, hot sauce, and two kinds of cheese for a perfectly creamy, tangy, and spicy dip. It’s the ultimate crowd-pleaser for game day or any cozy gathering.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup ranch dressing
  • ½ cup hot sauce (e.g., Frank’s RedHot)
  • 1 ½ cups shredded cheddar cheese, divided
  • ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2–3 green onions, sliced (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Soften the cream cheese: if not at room temperature, microwave for 15-20 seconds until soft but not melted.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, shredded chicken, ranch dressing, and hot sauce. Mix until well combined.
  4. Add 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese and all of the shredded mozzarella. Stir until evenly distributed.
  5. Transfer the mixture to an 8×8 inch baking dish or similar oven-safe dish, spreading into an even layer.
  6. Sprinkle the remaining ½ cup of shredded cheddar cheese over the top.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes, until bubbly and the top is melted and golden brown in spots.
  8. Let the dip rest for 5 minutes, then garnish with sliced green onions before serving.

Notes

For best texture, ensure cream cheese is softened. Do not overbake to avoid greasiness. Let rest 5 minutes before serving. Can be assembled up to 24 hours ahead and refrigerated unbaked; add 5-10 minutes to baking time if starting cold.
