A quick and easy no-bake cheesecake featuring a creamy filling with Oreo cookie crunch, perfect for beginners and any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 24 Oreo cookies (about 300g / 10.5 oz) – crushed finely for a firm base
  • 5 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted (about 70g / 2.5 oz)
  • 16 ounces (450g / 1 lb) cream cheese, softened – full-fat for best creaminess
  • 1 cup (240ml / 8 fl oz) heavy whipping cream, cold – whipped to soft peaks
  • ¾ cup (90g / 3.2 oz) powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 10 Oreo cookies, chopped roughly – folded into the filling for texture

Instructions

  1. Crush 24 Oreo cookies until fine crumbs form (about 2 ½ cups). Use a food processor or place them in a sealed bag and roll with a rolling pin.
  2. Mix the crumbs with 5 tablespoons melted unsalted butter until fully combined.
  3. Pour the crumb mixture into a 9-inch (23cm) springform pan. Press evenly and firmly into the base. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 15 minutes.
  4. In a chilled bowl, beat 1 cup cold heavy whipping cream until soft peaks form. Avoid over-whipping.
  5. In a separate large bowl, beat 16 ounces softened cream cheese with ¾ cup powdered sugar and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
  6. Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture using a rubber spatula, then fold in 10 roughly chopped Oreo cookies.
  7. Pour the filling over the chilled crust, smoothing the top. Tap the pan gently to release air bubbles.
  8. Refrigerate the cheesecake for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight, to set firmly.
  9. Before serving, run a thin knife around the edge of the pan to loosen the cheesecake. Remove the springform ring and slice carefully.
  10. Optional: Garnish with extra Oreo crumbs or whipped cream.

Notes

Use full-fat cream cheese for best texture. Chill crust before adding filling to prevent sogginess. Whip cream only to soft peaks to avoid grainy texture. Use a warm knife dipped in hot water for clean slices. For gluten-free, substitute Oreos with gluten-free chocolate sandwich cookies. Dairy-free options include vegan cream cheese and coconut cream but texture may vary.
