This Easy Candy Corn Bark with Pretzels is a quick and simple fall treat that combines salty pretzels, sweet candy corn, and creamy white chocolate for an irresistible salty-sweet crunch. Perfect for parties, it comes together in about 15 minutes of active time and is a guaranteed crowd-pleaser.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 ounces white chocolate chips or melting wafers (about 2 cups)
  • 1 cup mini pretzel twists, roughly crushed
  • 1 cup candy corn
  • 1 teaspoon vegetable oil or coconut oil
  • 2 tablespoons fall-themed sprinkles (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon flaky sea salt (optional)

Instructions

  1. Line a 13×18-inch baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat, letting the paper extend slightly over the edges for easy removal. Set aside.
  2. Place 1 cup of mini pretzel twists in a ziploc bag and gently crush them with a rolling pin or heavy pan until you have a mix of small pieces and a few larger chunks (pea-sized to dime-sized). Set aside.
  3. In a medium microwave-safe bowl, combine 12 ounces of white chocolate chips or melting wafers with 1 teaspoon of vegetable oil or coconut oil. Microwave in 30-second intervals at 50% power, stirring well after each interval, until smooth and completely melted (about 2 to 3 minutes total). Do not overheat.
  4. Pour the melted white chocolate onto the prepared baking sheet and spread it into an even rectangle about 1/4-inch thick using a rubber spatula or offset spatula.
  5. Sprinkle the crushed pretzels evenly over the melted chocolate, then gently press them down with your fingers or the spatula so they are partially embedded.
  6. Scatter 1 cup of candy corn over the top, distributing evenly, and press them down lightly to adhere.
  7. If using, sprinkle 2 tablespoons of fall-themed sprinkles and 1/2 teaspoon of flaky sea salt over the top.
  8. Refrigerate the baking sheet for at least 1 hour, or until the chocolate is completely firm and no longer sticky. For a quicker set, freeze for 20 to 30 minutes.
  9. Once fully set, lift the bark out of the baking sheet using the parchment paper handles. Place on a cutting board and break into irregular pieces with your hands (about 2 to 3 inches across).
  10. Serve immediately or store in an airtight container.

Notes

For best results, use fresh candy corn that is soft and pliable. Crush pretzels by hand for better texture control. Work quickly once chocolate is melted as it sets fast. Press toppings firmly into the chocolate to prevent them from falling off. The bark can be stored in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 1 week, or in the refrigerator if your kitchen is warm. Flavors meld and improve after a day or two.
