A no-cook, 10-minute Halloween charcuterie board featuring candy corn paired with savory cheeses, meats, and crunchy snacks. Perfect for parties when your oven breaks or you just want a stress-free, crowd-pleasing appetizer.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 ounces aged cheddar, sliced into thin triangles or cubes
  • 8 ounces brie, left whole or halved
  • 4 ounces goat cheese log, sliced into rounds
  • 6 ounces gouda, cubed
  • 6 ounces salami, thinly sliced
  • 4 ounces prosciutto, torn into ribbons
  • 4 ounces pepperoni, left in small slices (optional)
  • 1 cup candy corn
  • 2 cups caramel popcorn
  • 1/2 cup dark chocolate covered almonds
  • 1/2 cup dried cranberries
  • 1 cup pretzel sticks
  • 1 sleeve water crackers
  • 1/2 cup pumpkin seeds, roasted and salted
  • 1 cup green grapes
  • 23 sprigs fresh rosemary
  • 45 dried orange slices
  • Edible glitter or gold dust (optional)

Instructions

  1. Place your small bowls first: Set one in the upper left corner for candy corn and one in the lower right for caramel popcorn. This anchors the board and gives you reference points.
  2. Arrange the cheeses: Place brie in the center-left, cheddar triangles in the upper right, goat cheese rounds along the bottom edge, and gouda cubes near the middle. Space them out so people don’t have to reach over one cheese to get to another.
  3. Add the meats: Fold or roll salami slices and place them near the cheddar. Drape prosciutto ribbons in loose piles around the board. Scatter pepperoni near the center if using.
  4. Fill in with crackers and pretzels: Arrange water crackers in small clusters around the board, fanning them out slightly. Place pretzel sticks in a few different spots, pointing in different directions.
  5. Add the sweet elements: Pour candy corn into its designated bowl and scatter a few pieces around the board near the cheese. Place dark chocolate almonds in small piles near the gouda. Sprinkle dried cranberries in gaps. Add caramel popcorn to its bowl and let a few pieces spill out.
  6. Fill the gaps with grapes and pumpkin seeds: Use green grapes to fill empty spaces. Scatter pumpkin seeds in remaining small gaps. The board should look full but not crowded.
  7. Garnish and final touches: Tuck rosemary sprigs between ingredients. Place dried orange slices near the candy corn bowl. If using edible glitter, dust lightly over the board. Step back and adjust if needed.

Notes

Let cheese sit at room temperature for 20 minutes before assembling for best flavor. Don’t overload the board—leave about 20% surface visible. Prep ingredients the night before and assemble just before serving. Add crackers and pretzels right before serving to keep them crunchy. The board can sit out at room temperature for up to 2 hours.
