Quick and delicious turkey and cheese pinwheel roll-ups perfect for snacks, casual gatherings, or lunchboxes. These easy-to-make roll-ups combine creamy cheese, savory turkey, and a touch of honey-mustard for a satisfying bite.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 flour tortillas (8-inch)
  • 8 oz deli turkey slices (smoked or oven-roasted)
  • 4 oz sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 4 oz mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 1 cup fresh spinach leaves (optional)
  • Salt, to taste
  • Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine softened cream cheese, Dijon mustard, honey, garlic powder (if using), salt, and pepper. Stir until smooth and well blended (about 2-3 minutes).
  2. Lay one flour tortilla flat on a clean surface. Spread about 2 tablespoons of the cream cheese mixture evenly over the entire surface, leaving a ½-inch border around the edges.
  3. Arrange a layer of turkey slices evenly over the spread. Sprinkle about 2 tablespoons each of shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheese on top. If using, scatter fresh spinach leaves evenly over the cheese.
  4. Starting from one edge, carefully roll the tortilla into a tight log, keeping it snug but not too tight to avoid squeezing out the filling (1-2 minutes).
  5. Wrap the rolled tortilla in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 15-20 minutes to firm up the filling (optional but recommended).
  6. Using a sharp knife, cut the roll into 1-inch thick slices to make about 8 pinwheels per roll. Arrange on a serving platter with the spiral facing up.
  7. Serve immediately or keep chilled until ready to eat.

Notes

Soften cream cheese at room temperature or microwave for 10-15 seconds before mixing for easier spreading. Chill roll-ups before slicing to keep shape. Use a sharp, non-serrated knife for clean slices. Can substitute turkey with ham or chicken. Use gluten-free tortillas for gluten-free diet. For a spicy twist, add chipotle mayo or red pepper flakes to the spread.
